I going TACO LOCO! OMG! I can't believe that the ATL has such a GREAT PLACE for Mexican food! THERE MUST BE A GOD! This place has been just about everything I can think of. It goes in and out of business and each place that occupies this location NEVER stays for long but maybe there is hope! I don't know what this place was before because I NEVER bothered to remember. BUT being that I'm in town for a visit in the ATL and it has been FRICKIN FREEZIN COLD outside I needed some comfort food to warm me up! A normal person would eat at home but my parents house has NEVER been normal when it comes to food! My dad owns a restaurant so all we have ever had at homes is munchie foods! Chips, candy, cookies, ice cream, pickles, cheese, lunch meat and cereal and ohh salad! NOT REALLY what you call real food! If we ever want real food we went to the restaurant or called my dad and placed an order and he would bring home what we wanted like take out ONLY NOT REALLY! So there is always a shopping trip to the grocery store planned once I get in! It is pretty amazing I have always been healthy with the eating habits I could have picked up! Off the subject but WHATEVER YOU LOVE IT! So anyway I borrowed my dads car while everyone was at work and I slept in like the lazy AZZ and had a hankerin for something HOT, WARM and tasty once my eyes opened and I came back to the land of the living! I decided to give this place a shot! I wasn't getting my hopes up because I'm in the south and its NEVER been known for any ethnic type foods! SO COLOR ME SURPRISED when I chowed down into the mini tacos! SOOOOO DELICIOUS and PERFECTLY SEASONED! I wanted to kiss the cook, but boyfriends tend to frown at those type of things unless you have an open relationship which we don't! I also had the beans and Mexican rice which was SUPER DUPER YUMMY as well! I'm not sure if it was being STARVED by my family for real food or the FRICKIN COLD WEATHER out here that made it taste so GOOD but WHATEVER the case I was sold! I will go back everyday until TURKEY DAY if I can! The parking is not great but it is not bad! I have NEVER seen this place packed so you should be ok! I need to try a burrito or flauta and try to expand my palate! It is in some desperate need of change and spontaneity! Everyone was SUPER NICE but you always get GREAT SERVICE from family owned places! AND THEY tend to make the most authentic foods! REALLY put there heart into it and there foot because IT WAS SLAMMMIN! THANK YOU for FINALLY bringing edible Mexican food to the south!
